How does applying through a referral work?
Every role comes from our hiring partner. When you click Apply on a job, you go to the partner's application page and your application reaches them as a referral through ReferMeAJob. You do not need to know anyone at the company, create an account, or pay anything.
Is ReferMeAJob free to use?
Yes, completely. There is no account to create, no fee, and no paywall. You can browse and apply to every listing without signing up or giving us any personal details.
Where do the job listings come from?
Every role is sourced from our hiring partner. We are not the employer and we do not run the hiring process. We format, categorise and quality-check the listings, then link you to the partner site to apply.
Do I apply on ReferMeAJob?
No. Clicking Apply takes you to our hiring partner or the employer, where the application is completed. Anything you submit there is handled under their privacy policy, not ours, and we never see your CV or contact details.
Why do many listings say "Not disclosed" instead of a salary?
The salary data we receive is inconsistent: currency labels are frequently wrong and figures mix hourly, monthly and annual amounts in the same field. We only show a figure when it passes a plausibility check for its market. We would rather show nothing than show you a number that is wrong.
What does the application deadline mean?
Our hiring partner does not supply a closing date, so we derive one: it is based on the most recent date we confirmed the role was still being advertised, plus a rolling window. Treat it as our best signal rather than a commitment from the employer. The listing on the partner site is always authoritative.
How often are jobs updated?
We synchronise with the partner feed every night. New roles arrive at a rate of roughly 34 a month, so this is a deep catalogue with a steady trickle rather than a high-volume daily feed. Every card shows its posting date so you can judge for yourself.
Which countries do you cover?
India and the United States make up the large majority of listings, with a smaller number across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada and the UK. Around a third of all roles are fully remote and can be worked from anywhere.
Do you collect my personal data?
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or CV, and there is no account to create. We record anonymous usage events, which are deleted after 90 days, and we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We never sell data and we do not build advertising audiences from your visit.
